To hunt in a designated Muzzleloading Rifle Season you must apply for and successfully draw a
limited license, state wide. Certain restrictions apply to Muzzleloading Rifles and
Smoothbore Muskets to comply as a legal hunting method in designated Muzzleloading Rifle Seasons.
Legal hunting methods for Muzzleloading Rifle Seasons are also legal in regular Rifle
seasons and have fewer restrictions. If you are unsuccessful in drawing a limited
license, you can hunt one of our regular rifle seasons with an over-the-counter rifle tag.
